Troubleshooting Video
If you are experiencing video issues in a Standard Conference Room, please use the following steps to resolve your issue. Once the video is working, you may stop troubleshooting and do not need to complete every step.
- Make sure the Crestron system is on. The system will turn on after selecting a source.
- Select the desired input for the video source. The selected input will be indicated on the touch panel.
- If using network projection, make sure that you are connecting to the IP address displayed on screen using the Epson Network Projection Utility.
- If there is still no video displayed on the projector, there a few more steps to take to resolve the issue:
- Check to see if the correct video output is selected. If you are using a Windows computer, press the Windows and P keys on your keyboard and select Duplicate. If you are using an Apple computer, press the Command and F1 keys on your keyboard to duplicate.
- Check the video cable connections at the source device. For a laptop, make sure the HDMI or VGA cable is securely attached to the device. Try unplugging and reconnecting the video cable.
- Some laptops and tablets need to be plugged into power in order to send a video signal to the projector.
- If you are still experiencing video issues, please contact an Academic Support Technician at 255-HELP (x4357).
