Crestron Panel Video

The Crestron system is turned on by pressing the start page. This will turn on the projector, lower the screen, and set the audio to an acceptable level. Once the system has powered on, the desired source may be selected from the main page. The selected source will be indicated by a change in color.
Troubleshooting Video
If you are experiencing video issues in a Standard Crestron Room, please use the following steps to resolve your issue. Once the video is working, you may stop troubleshooting and do not need to complete every step.
- Make sure the Crestron system is on. The system will turn on after pressing the "Touch Screen to Begin" button on the touch panel.
- Select the desired input for the video source. The selected input will be indicated on the touch panel and highlighted in blue.
- If the video source (PC, laptop, Blu-ray player) is not also displayed on the projector, the system is routing a different source.
- Make sure the projector A/V MUTE or FREEZE is not on. These settings can be toggled on the touch panel.
- If there is still no video displayed on the projector, there a few more steps to take to resolve the issue:
- Check to see if the correct video output is selected. If you are using a Windows computer, press the Windows and P keys on your keyboard and select Duplicate. If you are using an Apple computer, press the Command and F1 keys on your keyboard to duplicate.
- Check the video cable connections at the source device. For a laptop, make sure the HDMI or VGA cable is securely attached to the device. For the podium PC, check that the video cable is securely connected. Try unplugging and reconnecting the video cable.
- Some laptops and tablets need to be plugged into power in order to send a video signal to the projector.
