Enabling Pop-ups for UCCS Websites

Internet Explorer

Step 1: Open the Security Settings

In Internet Explorer, click on the gear icon at the top right corner of the window and click on Internet options.

Step 2: Allowing UCCS to use pop-ups

Under the Privacy tab, scroll down to the Pop-up Blocker and click on Settings. From there type in http://www.uccs.edu/* under the *Address of website to allow field, and click on Add. You are now allowing UCCS to have pop-ups.


Mozilla Firefox

Step 1: Open the Security Settings

In Firefox, click on the menu icon at the top right corner of the window and click on Options.

Step 2: Allowing UCCS to use pop-ups

Under the Content tab and under the Pop-ups category click on Exceptions… For the Address of website field type in https://www.uccs.edu/* and click *Allow. UCCS is now able to use pop-ups.

Google Chrome

Step 1: Open the Security Settings

Within Chrome, click on the Menu icon in the top right corner of the window, and scroll down to Settings.

At the bottom of the Settings screen click on Show advanced settings…

Under the Privacy subsection, click on Content settings…

Step 2: Allowing UCCS to use pop-ups

Scroll down to the Pop-ups subsection, click on Manage exceptions…

In the Hostname pattern field, type in https://www.uccs.edu/* and make sure *Allow is under the Behavior field. Clicking Done will allow UCCS to use pop-ups. Updated 6/3/2016 by Zaid
