To create an Image Media Slider, an Image media is first required. Follow the steps listed below to learn how to create an Image media.
I. Create an Image media
1. After being logged in, hover with your cursor over the tab labeled "Content" in the top left corner. A drop down menu should appear.
2. From this drop down menu, select "Media". You will then be taken to the media page where all current media is listed.
3. On this page, click on the blue "+ Add media" button.
4. You will then be prompted to select the media type you would like to create, click "Image" from the list of available media types.
5. Fill out all required and desired fields (required fields have a red *).
- Image - select the image from your computer that you would like to upload (recommended image size is about
- Name - This is the name of the image that you will use to search by (this name will not appear on your webpage).
- A caption is optional (this will not appear on your webpage).
6. Once you have finished filing out the fields, click the blue "Save" button towards the bottom of the page. You have successfully created an Image media.
II. Create an Image Media Slider
1. Navigate to the page where you would like to add an Image Media Slider content row.
2. From the list of available content rows, select "Add Single Page - Image Media Slider"
3. Fill out required and desired fields (required fields have a red *).
- Section Title - this is the heading that will be displayed above your images.
- Section Icon - this can display an icon to the right of the section title, simply select your DuoTone or Light icon from Font Awesome (https://fontawesome.com/) and then copy and paste the code (paste only the part of the code that is in quotes, quotes not included).
- Image Media Cards - this is where you will add your Image media previously created.
4. Once you have finished filing out the fields, save the page. You have successfully created an Image Media Slider. An example of an Image Media Slider is displayed below.
