Features
This is a standard Extron classroom utilizing a button control panel and a Vaddio Hyflex system. This room however, features 23 classroom lab computers for the students to utilize.

Remotes
Hyflex Remote
Controls the Hyflex VTC System. Located in the middle right podium drawer or laying on top of the podium.
Controlling the A/V System
Inputs
Using the Podium PC and Lectern
The computer located on the podium is the primary source for this AV system. This computer runs the same Windows image as our other podium PCs and can be signed into with your UCCS credentials.
The keyboard and mouse should be are located in underneath the first drawer computer, on the left.At the top right of the podium, there is a pull out shelf which can be utilized for placing additional materials on the podium.
Using a Laptop
The VGA/Audio on the lectern is for use with a laptop. Connect your device, and select the laptop input. There is also a network cable which will give access to the UCCS network and internet when connected to a deviceVGA on the button panel to switch inputs.
Using the Document Camera
Selecting the document camera source on the panel will route it to the projector. The document camera on the lectern is powered on by holding pressing the power button.
Zoom and auto focus controls for this document camera are located on the right side of the base. Similar to the Extron panel, there is a freeze option that will freeze the image being shown.The menu button will bring up the settings menu for the document camera.
Screen Control
The controls to raise and lower the projector screen are located on the wall next to the lectern. The screen does raise and lower automatically with the rest of the system. You may raise the screen to use the whiteboard while the projector is on using the wall panel controls.

The volume control knob may need to be adjusted on startup to push enough sound through the amp so that the person in the room can hear the audio.

The room speakers are located on the ceiling. There are many around the room. Also hanging from the ceiling are room-microphones for Hyflex integration.

- To access the lab computers, first ensure the desk is clear of all items.
- Next, pull up on the desk situated in front of you revealing a computer inside the desk.
- Using the metal handle above the computer, lift slowly, revealing the computer. When doing so, the keyboard and mouse will be inside the tray, underneath the bottom of the computer.
- The screen may be tilted back and forth to adjust the viewing angle.
- When finished, place the mouse and keyboard back in the storage area, carefully and gently lower the computer back in the desk, and close the desk cover.
