Some outdoor WAPs (wireless access points) are mounted to light poles, others are mounted directly to buildings, and some are integrated into bollards. Some may be hidden within nearby structures, so even if you don’t see the access point, there should be wireless signal in the areas marked on our interactive outdoor AP map. Below are photos showing some of the different mounting styles.

Many of the WAPs (wireless access points) are found along the pedestrian spine on central campus – from Cragmor Hall all the way to Roaring Fork Dining Hall. Others can be found on west campus around HYBL and the ENT Center for the Arts. Visit our interactive campus map that shows the location of the outdoor wireless access points.
