Open My UCCS Account Page

Go to Browse to https://outlookmyaccount.com/uccs.edu and type in / and click on Update Recovery Options.

Step 2: Login with your UCCS Credentials

Login with your UCCS email address and password. Click Sign In.

4: Set up the Authenticator App

You will be directed to the following page to set up recovery options. Only one recovery option is required, however, you can configure both.

I want to set up a different method

Select the link located on the bottom left titled "I want to set up a different method." You will be presented with a drop-down menu, select Phone then Image AddedAfter clicking on Set it up now next to Authentication Phone is not configured, you will see the following page. Choose your applicable country code and enter your phone number. This is the phone number that you will receive a code that you will need to enter in the next step.

Note

Do not use your campus phone number if you share an office with others.

If the phone is text message message capable, click on on text me. If you prefer to receive a phone call, click on call me.

Step 2: Verify Code

Enter the code that you received in a text message or via an automated call. Press Verify Next

Step 1: Enter Alternative Email Address

After clicking on Set it up now next to Authentication Email is not configured, you will see the following page. Enter an alternative email address and press email me. Be sure that it is not a UCCS email address. This is the email address that you will receive a code that you will need to enter in the next step.

Step 2: Verify Code

Enter the code that you received in an email. Press Verify.

Step 4: Recovery Options Sucessfully Set

Once one or more recovery options are set, you will see a green checkmark next to whichever option you set. Press finish to be directed back to your email.
