Separate/Combined Modes

There are 4 modes in total for this space with a total of 3 cameras, each utilizing specific equipment to the room. There are also two touch panels, one on both sides.

If selecting separate mode on the touch panel, it will turn on the display and camera on that side only.

If selecting combined modes on either touch panel, both displays will turn on when powering on the system and the camera in the middle of the front of the room will be utilized. The cameras below each display will not work in this mode.

Turning the system on and off

The system will power on when pressing the start page on the touch panel.  This will turn on the Cisco system as well as the Sharp display for that side of the room.

To turn the AV system off, press the red System Off button in the lower right corner.

Inputs

This room does require a laptop if you wish to present content. Otherwise, you would need to select one of the TelePresence modes. There are inputs at the tables as well as the wall towards the front of the display.

Volume Control

Volume can be controlled using the volume buttons at the bottom of any page on the touch panel. The raise and lower buttons are on either side of the volume bar and the mute button is located in the lower left corner.

Cameras

There are three cameras in the space

Depending on the mode you selected, you can move the camera using the arrows and the zoom in/out buttons outlined to the left. When you select a mode, the camera for that mode will automatically start. Mentioned before, depending on the touch panel you're utilizing and the mode your selecting, you'll only be able to adjust that camera that is turned on.

Starting and ending a call

Utilizing the buttons on the touch panel and the display, you can start or end a call. To start a call, navigate to the proper screen on the display and enter the number or choose some from the directory or recent calls button.

You can also wait for someone to call the Cisco codec number. When the number comes up on the screen, select the green "connect" button to connect to the call.

To end the call, simply hit the disconnect button.
