Welcome to our very first post of Office 365 Feature Roundup.
We know what you’re here for and it’s not my story telling so, without further ado, here are your new features for May.
Use both light and bold colors in the Web version of Outlook to differentiate between different types of events. (releasing now)
Emails written in a different language than the set language for the user will trigger the option to translate the message right in the window. (releasing through June)
Allow people to search for your Team and request access
Give your shift workers the ability to clock in and clock out right within Teams
Quickly switch between Teams within Shifts
Get the same file sharing options as what you see in OneDrive, right in Teams
Now located at the bottom of the screen, all controls will be in a single bar to make navigation simple
Increase visibility with Announcement post types with customized backgrounds
Increase the functionality of your file structure by introducing new columns
In group chats and 1:1 chats (not currently in Teams channels) users will be notified of when a sent message has been read. This is turned on by default however, users have the ability to turn it off.
Outlook Tasks has migrated to Microsoft To-Do. Manage your personal tasks, make task lists, share lists and bring in your assigned Planner tasks and Flagged emails. All in one place.
Outlook for Mobile – The most feature rich email client for Office 365. This is the recommended email app for UCCS.
