Step-by-step guide
This can only be done with the Block Architect role:
- Login to the webservices account
- Go to Structure → Menus → Add Menu
- Name this either: sitenameSideNav (if it is on every page of the site) or pagenameSideNav (if this nav is only displayed on a specific page)
- Click Save
- This will take you to the Menu page
- Click + Add link and add all of the links necessary
- Click Save
- Go back to Structure → Block Layout
- Find either the Left Sidebar section or the Right Sidebar section
- Click Place block
- Find and select your menu
- Click Save blocks
