How to find your device's MAC address

1. In the Search box type cmd and press enter
2. At the command prompt, type ipconfig/all and press enter
3. Look in the different sections of the output depending on whether you are looking for your wired or wireless mac address...
   1. To find your wired mac address - look for the section titled Ethernet Adapter Ethernet (or similar) and look for the physical address
   2. To find your wireless mac address - look for the section titled Wireless Lan Adapter Wi-Fi (or similar) and look for the physical address

1. Right-click the Start Menu button and choose Command Prompt
2. At the command prompt, type ipconfig/all and press enter

1. Open the Apple menu (upper left of your screen), and choose System Preferences...
2. Click and open the Network icon
3. On the left you will see a list of your network adapters...
   1. To find your wired mac address - click on Ethernet in the list, then click the Advanced button, then click on the Hardware tab and your wired mac address should be listed
   2. To find your wireless mac address - click on Wi-Fi in the list, then click the Advanced button, then click on the Hardware tab and your wireless mac address should be listed

1. While signed in, click the time in the bottom-right of the screen
2. Click the down arrow under the Wi-Fi icon to show the wireless network list
3. Click the Info icon "i"
4. You should see the mac address displayed after "wi-fi:"

Variation 1

1. Open a terminal
2. Type ifconfig and hit enter

   2. The MAC addresses should be found next to the word ether (it may also be labeled as HWaddr)

1. Open the Activities overview and start typing Network

2. Click on Network to open the panel

3. Choose which device, Wi-Fi or Wired, from the left pane

4. The MAC address for the wired device will be displayed as the Hardware Address on the right

5. Click the settings button (gear icon) to see the MAC address for the wireless device displayed as the Hardware Address in the Details panel

2. Making sure the Wi-Fi toggle is turned on, click the small Info ("i") icon next to the wireless network you are attaching to
3. The device mac address is listed next to Wi-Fi Address

From your iPhone the watch is linked to...

1. On your iPhone find and tap the Watch app
2. Tap General, then tap About
3. The device mac address is listed next to Wi-Fi Address

Android comes in many different version that may have slight differences in their menus and interfaces. Below we will list different variations of steps and menus you can try. If you still have problems finding your Android device's mac address, please contact our Help Desk.

Variation 1

1. Tap and open Settings, then tap Connections, then tap Wi-Fi
2. Tap the vertical dot menu () and then tap Advanced (it might just say Advanced and not have the vertical dot menu, if so just click Advanced)
3. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you should see the MAC address listed

Variation 2

1. Tap and open Settings, then tap About Device (on some phones it may say About Phone)
2. Tap Status
3. The MAC address should be listed under Wi-Fi MAC address

Variation 3

1. Tap and open Settings
2. Tap on Wireless & Networks  (or tap on About Device)
3. Tap on Wi-Fi Settings (or tap Hardware Info)
4. Tap the menu button and choose Advanced. The MAC address should be listed here.

3. Select System Information
4. You should find the MAC addresses listed here

PS4

1. From the Main Menu go to the Settings tab
2. Scroll down and select Network
3. Scroll down and select View Connection Status

Variation 1 (getting the mac address during setup)

1. During setup you should get to a "Connect to Wi-Fi" menu. At this menu, select More
2. Select Show Mac Address

Variation 2 (getting the mac address after setup)

1. Open the Google Home app
2. Select your device from the list
3. Select Settings
4. Scroll down and you should find the mac address info

Due to the large number of vendors and devices, its hard to list instructions for every single device. Here are some suggestions...

• In general there should be a Settings menu somewhere (or an About section, or a Network section) where you can usually find mac address info. You can dig around your settings and see what you can find.
• Google can be helpful! Try googling the name of your device along with "find mac address." (For example, you could try googling "how do I find visio tv mac address")
• You can also check the manufacturers website or documentation
