Description

ENGR 202 UC 309 conference room is a bring-your-own-device conferencing space, allowing the room user to utilize the room speakers, microphone, display, and camera to coordinate virtual meetings with in-person participants. This room was upgraded through UCCS OIT as a part of the covid relief funds to help bring more business needs into a virtualized space.

To display content to the room display, connect a laptop or other device to the provided HDMI cable on top of the AV rack in the room. If your content is not automatically shown on the display press the "LAPTOP" option on the button panel to select the HDMI 1 input on the display monitor.

Connecting using AirMedia

Select the button below the "LAPTOP" option on the button panel to change the room displays source to the AirMedia input. Follow the on-screen directions to establish a connection to the display. It should be noted that unless the BYOD is also connected at the USB, the BYOD will not be able to utilize the room peripherals such as the microphone and cameras.

Switching Cameras

Selecting the button third from the top on the button panel will switch the active camera. Alternatively, you may change the camera selection by locating the inogeni USB hub in the AV rack (silver, black, with orange LEDs). Pressing the 1 or 2 button on the USB hub will manually switch the active camera.

While there are volume adjustments available on the button panel, one can also control the volume of their content through the application and computer volume on the laptop itself.
