- d2. The construction project manager will schedule a meeting with wireless team to discuss rooms with 25+ seats, VIP areas, and ceiling material. This step should occur one to two weeks after d1.
- d3. The wireless team will create and provide predictive site survey for wireless access point (WAP) placements to construction project manager. This step should occur one to two weeks after d2.
- d4. The construction project manager will review and incorporate OIT Construction Standards.
- Construction_Standards_Final > 27 21 33 Data Communications Wireless ACCESS POINTS > 3.01 EXECUTION
- d5. The construction project manager will provide updated CAD drawings with WAP placements to the wireless team.
- d6. The wireless team will verify placements and submit changes if needed to the construction project manager.
Construction Phase
OIT construction coordinator will ensure the following are completed:

- c2. Coordinate a box walk with the wireless team and construction project manager once internal framing is mostly completed.
- c3. Provide a date by when the wireless team needs to submit all WLAN quotes.
- c4. The wireless team will provide the quotes to the OIT construction coordinator by the date provided in c2.
- c5. Provide a SpeedType and date by when the wireless team needs to order all WLAN quotes.
- c6. The wireless team will order the quotes and provide receipts to OIT construction coordinator by the date provided in c4.
- Steps c5 and c6 can be skipped if the construction project manager orders the quotes provided by the wireless team.
- c7. Provide a date to the wireless team when the wired lines are pulled to proper locations.
- c8. Coordinate a box walk with the wireless team and construction project manager.
- c9. Provide a date to the wireless team when the terminated lines and enclosures are finished.
