Welcome to our very first post of Office 365 Feature Roundup.
We know what you’re here for and it’s not my story telling so, without further ado, here are your new features for May.
Outlook on the Web
Inline Translation
Emails written in a different language than the set language for the user will trigger the option to translate the message right in the window. (releasing through June)
Teams
Manage discovery of private Teams
Rolling out early June
Choose if you want your private Team to be searchable within the Teams interface. This allows people within our organization to search for your Team and request access. This does not allow people to access the Team without approval from a Team owner.
Quickly switch between Team schedules while in the Shifts app. Click on the 3 horizontal lines in the top left to view the Teams that have Shifts set up for you.
Calls and Meeting controls are unifying to one toolbar on the bottom of the screen.
Group Chats size increased to 100 from 50
Rolling out now
Group chats can now support 100 users in one chat. Previously the limit was 50 users.
Productivity Tools
Microsoft To-Do
Live Now
Outlook Tasks has migrated to Microsoft To-Do. Manage your personal tasks, make task lists, share lists and bring in your assigned Planner tasks and Flagged emails. All in one place.
