Inputs

Using the Podium PC and Lectern

The computer placed on the podium is the primary source for this AV system.  This computer runs the same image as all other podium computers in general fund classrooms and labs.  You can sign in with your UCCS credentials.

Unfortunately, OIT does not support the hardware for the computer in this room, if an issue arises, College of Education is responsible for these computers as well as any peripheral connected to it, such as the mouse and keyboard (shown in the picture above).

Using a Laptop

On the lectern, there are HDMI, VGA w/ audio, and a network cable provided for the user's own device.  Connect your device and change sources using the instructions above.

On the top of the document camera are controls for zoom and auto focus.

Using the Blu-Ray Player

To utilize the Blu-Ray player, select Blu-Ray on the main menu of the homepage. This will switch to the player. The controls for the player are on the touch panel.

In the space, there are XLR inputs and outputs and are primarily used for assistive listening systems.

The microphone input panel allows for two devices to be connected to the system, one for input and one for output.  Both devices must use the XLR connections provided.  Any microphone or audio input device connected to the input port will add audio to the system.  This audio will be heard on the in-room speakers and the XLR output.  The XLR output port will allow any connected device to receive all audio from a selected source and the XLR input.

Screen Control

The screen in this room is automatically operated. By turning on the system, the screen should lower. When you turn off the system, it should raise. You can also use the controls on the touch screen and the wall controls as well.
